Cultural Message- Social Networking

Cultural message…different people equals different perspectives.  To Danah Boyd, she was thinking in terms of sites.  To others, the term went far beyond sites.  The Economist’s are more in tune with the overall aspects of technologies (looking more at social software, etc).  I think the message taken from her definition is that people look at one given term in numerous ways based on their own personal experience and beliefs.
