Excellence and Imagination- Clarence Fisher and More

After reviewing a blog created by and for Mr. Fisher’s classroom (Excellence and Imagination- view tag), I noticed his use of communication between student, teacher, and technology was astonishing.  One post described how his students created seven math videos (obviously using guided instruction). I feel that’s a wonderful way to learn and assess at the same time.  This is one example of how teacher’s explaining what’s happening in their classroom.  It is online classroom tour for anyone interested.  Not only can you view his comments, but students are active participants as well.  It thought his blog was very interesting and helpful to his students (and parents).  You could tell after reading comments that his students were actively engaged and learning at the same time (similar to this class).  I’ve tagged some other teacher blogs which shows how teachers are writing about what’s happening in the classroom.  Some are communicating with other teachers, parents, and students.  Some blogs are used to explain and share experiences among educators.
